Using non-JT factory or non-approved parts on a JT Proflex will void the warranty and can make the goggles unsafe for use.
Stores that sell knockoff JT parts and fields that allow these parts are accepting liability and risking a lawsuit from anyone who is injured because these parts have not passed official ASTM Safety testing.

Do not modify or allow customers to play with modified masks. Selling or allowing customers to play with modified masks can carry potential liability since the masks may no longer be ASTM-certified.
Due to the popularity of the JT Proflex goggle system, we are seeing an influx of parts for the JT Proflex that have not been approved by JT. All non-approved aftermarket parts will void the Factory warranty and the Factory ASTM safety certification.
All parts that fit the JT Proflex that are sold by Kore Outdoor are authorized. They have been tested and passed approval for paintball use.
